I’m a Click Pro Elite!
Es war mein grosses Ziel, das Portfolio bis Ende 2024 einzureichen, um 2025 hoffentlich mit dem langersehnten Titel in der Fotografie mein Business weiter aufbauen zu können.
Nun halte ich den Abschluss endlich (nach 5 Jahren!) in den Händen. Ich kann es gar noch nicht glauben und brauche wohl ein paar Tage, um zu realisieren, was ich tatsächlich geschafft habe! Seit 2018 hatte ich einen Ordner mit dem Namen Click Pro Elite auf meiner Dropbox, den ich über Jahre hinweg immer wieder ergänzt, überabeitet und neu organisiert habe. Letztendlich hatte ich eine Sammlung von 150 Bildern zusammen. Diese 150 Fotos sollten es also sein. Dass ich direkt beim ersten Versuch aufgenommen wurde, hätte ich nie für möglich gehalten.
Das grösste Dankeschön gebührt meiner Familie. ❤️ Sie haben mich grossartig in meinem Vorhaben unterstützt. Es war mir persönlich sehr wichtig, ein Portfolio zu gestalten, welches ausschliesslich Fotos von unserer Familie enthält – ein Andenken an unsere gemeinsame Zeit, an das wir uns hoffentlich ewig erinnern können und mir zugleich den Titel bringt, den ich seit Jahren in der Tasche haben wollte.
Was genau ist Click Pro und Click Pro Elite?
Click Pro ist eine renommierte internationale Organisation, die talentierte und herausragende Fotografinnen aus der ganzen Welt vereint. Mit mehr als tausend Mitgliedern aus 45 Ländern, die über 30 verschiedene Fotografie-Genres abdecken, repräsentiert Click Pro ein Netzwerk der besten Fotografinnen weltweit. Die Mitgliedschaft in dieser exklusiven Gemeinschaft basiert auf strengen Auswahlkriterien. Ein Portfolio von 150 Bildern muss eingereicht werden, das dann in sieben wesentlichen Kategorien von einem hoch angesehenem Fachgremium (darunter Courtney Larson, Director der Click Community, zählt unter anderem zu den zehn besten Hochzeitsfotografinnen Nordamerikas) bewertet wird.

Das Portfolio dient als Nachweis sowohl technischer Fähigkeiten als auch künstlerischer Ausdruckskraft. Die Aufnahme ist ein Zeichen für jahrelange Hingabe und ein hohes Niveau in der Fotografie. Den Titel Click Pro Elite zu tragen, ist eine grosse Ehre und zeigt, dass die Fotografen einen hohen Standart in der Kunst der Fotografie erreicht haben.

PERSONAL NOTES FROM THE PANEL
Exposure-
Andrea demonstrated excellent exposure on virtually all images and usually manages exposure well in challenging light.
Use of Light-
Images in Andrea’s set have contrast and depth. Light often contributes to the story and mood. Subjects are consistently well-lit.
Color + White Balance-
Skin tone in Andrea’s images is mostly accurate, but when its not, it does not detract form image integrity. Color tones/white balance is constant the majority of time. Andrea also manages mixed lighting and reflected light well.
Composition-
Andrea has shown frequent incorporation of color, line, and shape as design elements to make her images more visually interesting. Andrea purposefully included all elements within the frame. Subjects are posed well with specific placement within the frame.
No unintentional limb chops or awkward chops. Andrea also plays with scales and vantage points to show a different view of the world through her lens.
Processing + Cohesion-
Rich and vibrant color tones are attractive and effective in Andrea’s images. Images are usually consistent in style or are deliberately varied for effect. Nothing is overdone with appropriate sharpness, excellent contrast, etc.
Technical-
Andrea’s set has demonstrated perfect focus, sharpness and clarity. Appropriate and varying depth of field from image to image. Focus and DOF are used by Andrea as an element of storytelling.
Creativity + Intention-
Andrea’s images showcase a clear vision, purpose and style. It is very clear that Andrea is very intentinal when it comes to each image she makes from the photographing to the editing process.
Applicants strongest images or skill-
I have truly enjoyed the fact that Andrea’s portfolio presented all the different angles from which she sees the world. Instead of just creating pretty images, Andrea is sharing with the rest of the world how she feels about life. The emotion definitely carries through the images.
Applicants weakest images or skill-
To nitpick, we do see some vertical frames that are a little bit tight on the edge. For example image 72 and 145 could both have a little more room on the right of the frame to create less tension and show more of the feeling of freedom/carefree by literally giving them a little more space in the frame.
Follow-up Feedback-
Andrea’s work is absolutely stunning and whimsical. Her images have brought big smiles to my face. Thank you for sharing your images with us!
